    8949 irs form: what does each column read for a covered option call that has been bought?

    Option question as related to to a covered call that  was bought.  On form 8949, must every column have an  entry?  What might  a hypothetical transaction read?

    We are not tax consultants. Go to H&R block or some place like them and see if you can get some free answers.
