      Over 60 years ago I was christened in the Presbyterian church against my will.Since then I have become a confirmed atheist for reasons of my own which I won't discuss here.I know all of those cool passages from the bible,trouble is,they have been mis-interpreted so many times none of them make sense any more.(To me anyhow).

        Tommyh - some make sense Tommyh but others have been adapted or misinterpreted by man. I am don't mind saying it as many would on the fence - Agnostic - it has served me well.

                "Correctly" sort of creates a dilemma doesn't it? It opens the can of worms as to who's idea of correctly is correct.

                hi colleen,,,i like to keep the bible simple,,it was not meant for intellectuals,,,you should not kill,, you should not steal,, you should not commit adultry..i reckon thats pretty simple,,but christianty is a faith belief,,to those without a faith belief in god the creator,,it is all gobbly gook,,,nice talking to you,,,,

                To those with belief of the God who created the man Jesus, they can read the gobbledygook and see the mistakes in it and know it is not the true world of God. The gobbledygook was always meant for it's followers. Keep them blind and uninformed and they will forever follow the "faith" and forever just keep the faith that they are not being misled.
