Two suggestions:
An actual copy of the tax statement can be obtained from the county tax collector. Have your parcel number or street address to assist in locating your statement.
The county assessor is the one who places values upon your property. The "Homeowner's Exemption" (available in California, not sure about other states) is obtained from the assessor. If you feel the values are incorrect, THAT is where you file for re-valuation.
