People always go to the hospital for dental issuses and they can only treat the symptoms, not the cause. Go to the dentist.

Maybe see a Doctor. She may need antibiotics.A Dentist can also prescribe antibiotics, but a Doctors visit would be cheaper.

having been referred to the public dentist prior to head and neck radiation I would strongly suggest your friend bite the bullet, skip the forever waiting list and pay for a private dentist, most health funds cover the majority of the cost
