    INTERESTING ANSWERS. YES RUNNING RED LIGHTS CAUSE ACCIDENTS OF ALL KINDS. HOW ABOUT A TIMER THAT WARNS YOU HOW MANY SECONDS LEFT BEFORE THE LIGHT TURNS RED. YOU IGNORE AT YOUR PERIL.

    I'm not sure where your from saw, but in the states we have a yellow light that does what you want.. When the light goes from green to yellow you know you should be stopping..

      The solution to this is, 'Don't leave home'.  Those red lights breed like bunnies.
