Anime is a form of animation from Japan.
My eldest was interested in anime when she was a teenager. :) Now, that I have seen the other thread ... she is an artist and incorporates that style in her work.

And many are very violent with their messages, kids get brainwashed so easily. My daughter has a list of kid shows and it is very small list. All of which are approved educationally. SuperWhy for example, has led our grandson to read and write at 3 yr. old. So no rotting of his brain, thankfully! And the daily limit is one hour of television!
Educational cartoons do not apply to my answer. Anime is about fighting mostly.

True, in cartoons, people just come back to life. Not a good non reality to teach kids though. Dead is dead.
