Use Apple iTunes to shorten a song. Right-click the song in iTunes and click “Get Info.” Click the “Options” tab at the top of the information window that appears, check the “Start Time” and “Stop Time” boxes on the options pane and type the new start and stop times into the boxes. Click “OK,” right-click the song and click “Create AAC Version.” ITunes creates a new song file without the excluded parts.
