i dive tractor trailers for a living ...but the air system is the most important of them all..I know that the production companies donot want to give up easly their information to anything at all..I have worked with mecks that have had to replace the air pump on a tractor and when they did they had to replace the main air supply line to the brakes and the breake diaphrams to the axels because of contamination of engine oil and the use of anti freeze that crystalized and gumed up the system..what a mess it was...it is a big job and best to have qualified service personell to work on..yes it is expensive ...but an accident is always the most expencive.
