Worms are badgers main natural food.
Nuts are high in energy and are devoured by badgers.
Roots are easy picking for badgers with their large an powerful digging claws.
Berries are eaten when in season.
Slugs are often eaten but not as a first choice.
Hedgehogs are some times eaten. Again the powerful claws come in handy.
Honey, badgers love honey, they can sniff out bumble bee nests and easily dig them up. Badgers are also good climbers and can reach bees nests.

    Badgers basically eat anything.
Even human fingers if you're not careful, vicious things, ask my mate, "7 finger bodger"!
