Do not enter a password if you have not made one. Just click enter. 

in order to download or change anything  or if you have more then 1 user on computer,Dell asks for

admin. that would be the only person that can make changes to settings or download anything.  Dell wants permission from the admin. to make changes, go ahead and create an admin. name & password, it won't harm anything, it's just protection for your computer, like if you have kids that use your computer, if they want to download anyhing they couldn't unless they used the admin. name & password. It also will not allow anyone to use the computer unless they have the admin. name & password. I couldn't defrag or delete cookies unless I created an admin. name & password, so I did & I am the only one that uses this computer. I hope this helps you out.
