        And if you are going to be a waiter, remember to try to satisfy the needs of your table, be pleasant-but not phoney, and make sure to check back once they have begun eating to see if they require anything else.

          Have you ever been to a restaurant? The person who takes your order and brings you your food and whatever else you need, that's what a waiter does.
