      Either one.

      I'd rather see a comment when a person gives a thumbs down. I personally would like to know the reason for a negative vote. Especially when I've gotten the answer through googling and research.

            I agree with you, it's a lot easier to click a button rather then type a reason why... people are a lot more brave with their words when they're behind a computer screen
