loss of strength in lefr arm and hand

I had a great deal of pain in left shoulder and arm for one week and am experiencing a great amount weakness and strength in my arm , hand and fingers, Suggestions, Gerald 514-4869755

Please see a Dr. ASAP...You don`t list other symptoms but it could be a T.I.A..(mini-stroke/stroke)..a blood clot that`s blocking an artery,as C.said...(if so you may need anti-coagulant meds to break up the clot and thin the blood..as you are potentially at risk of developing a clot that travels to the lungs..heart..(Pulmonary Embolism)!...Other symptoms of strokes are weakness down the whole side of your body,slurred speech and drooping that side of the face...It may not be this..it could be muscular or anything else as C.said..but definitely needs medical diagnosis.

My housemate had T.I.A.s. Doctors aren't real familiar with it here in the states. He has "spells" and they drain him. He had one last night and I'm not going to tell him.....

Could be signs of a blocked artery. Could be the sign of a blood clot. Could be the sign of an injured muscle. Could be a sign of other things. See a doctor.
