Perhaps you can find one by attending a local dog show, or going to your veterinarian and asking if they could recommend one. Or look in the phone book and check out the breeders. Things to ask once you locate a breeder would be: for recommendations by their clients, the name of the particular veterinarian that they use, and maybe check the better business bureau to see if they have had any complaints filed against them. You could also ask to see the parent dogs, and the health records for them, as well as for the pup.
