I'd like to accept this award as humbly as I can, but it's not that easy. Every time I begin a new sentence, I know that it will not be
    'over-easy' either.
    Thank You.

What smart looking lady. Think she needs to go back to Specksavers, to get smaller frames, blue is not her colour.lol
    lindilou

LOL! They are rather large specs I must admit! Her poor little beak is feeling peckish too!!

Booowk boooowk boooowk ,and another double yolker.

We used to use these things called "peck guards" they were little plastic things that fit on the top beak, looked like spectacles, except they had no lens, just plastic.  They blocked the view of other chickens from frontal view of the aggressive chickens, preventing them from pecking others.

You are a wealth of information. Did you grow up on a farm?

Not really, a little backyard thing, but only part of childhood. My family, great gram had a big (50 cow) dairy farm. I went to college for Agriculture, worked for USDA while in college, and then became a vocational agriculture teacher (it was plan B, as the gov't. had cutbacks before I was full time). Although not really trained to teach, I took a few courses after beginning the career. It only lasted for 35 yrs! It was a great gig, have been retired almost 5 yrs now!

That is really interesting. I live in the middle of an agricultural valley. We are blessed. :)

I live in the city, and in the smallest, most populated per capita state in US. Agriculture is small scale here. However, Florists, Pet Shops, Landscapers, Veterinarians, Tree Companies, etc. are part of our agribusiness industry.

Quite a curious thing where we end up living. I never in a million years would have guessed that I would end up here.
