Just being old doesn't make a person have tremors. Maybe she has Parkinsons disease, or some other neurological disorder. There is a condition that runs in families called " essential familial tremor " which means you shake b/c it runs in your family and nobody knows why . I used to have a tremor in Jr. High and H.S. What a time to have it ! How embarrassing. I finally outgrew it, I guess, when i was in my 20s. But, my aunt used to shake and so does her great-grand daughter who is now about 15 or 16. At any rate, you should take her to a neurologist. But, they may tell you that you need a referal from your family Dr first.
