How does soil pH impact solubility of minerals?

I'm trying to understand how the hydrogen concentration (pH) of soil influences how well minerals like Al and Ca dissolve.  Why does Al dissolve better at a low pH while other minerals don't? Can you help me with perhaps a chemical equation or reaction? Thanks
