NRA good or bad for America?

It's good for the 2nd amendment which makes it good for Americans. Without the 2nd amendment  there would be no 1st amendment.  It's good to keep the government from trodding on our right to defend ourselves. NBC has admitted that the American people were lied to and no assault rifle was used at Sandy Hook. 4 handguns were found. One rifle was found in his car and according to their reporters, it looked like a hunting rifle but not an AR-15. Obama is standing on the graves of children to try and strip Americans of their Constitutional rights. The NRA is correct. Whenever this country adds to the gun control, crime goes up. When the ban on assault weapons like the AR-15 expired, gun violence went down across the USA and has continued to do so in spite of Sandy Hook. Gun violence is down again since more and more guns are being purchased since Obama's threats about his dictator style gun legislation. The NRA is standing in his way of being another Hitler trying to remove American defenses against a corrupt government. I agree with the NRA too about putting armed guards in the schools and stop promoting them as weapons free zones. That is just an advertisement for an insane person to walk in and shoot kids unabated.

NRA is the road block to keep dictators from taking on supreme power. Too bad there was no NRA in Nazi Germany.

I am commenting as a member and not a moderator. I'm a moderator only when I have to moderate. Other than that, freedom of speech applies even to me. As long as Obama keeps taking plays from Hitler's handbook on dictatorship, I will continue to point it out.

Colleen, In 1919 and 1920 in Germany, to stabilize the country after the first world war, all arms were confiscated.
In 1928 and 1938, german people were allowed to buy guns, only the jewish people were not allowed to carry guns. The guns were tighly regulated. They did not need the NRA, they had theire own laws.Thank you wiki.

Who did the laws work for? Millions were killed because they could not defend themselves. Thank you reality.
