The transmission in a newer Malibu does not have a dipstick. It is meant to be left alone until it is time to have the vehicle serviced by the dealer or a licensed mechanic. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Where_is_the_transmission_dipstick_on_a_2005_chevy_malibu
