      Drain the engine oil into a container that holds at least six quarts. Turn the filter counter clockwise to remove.  Install a new proper filter, hand tight. 


      Reinstall the oil pan drain plug.   Fill with 5W/20 motor oil and start checking the level with the dip stick after you have installed five quarts. Start the engine, let it run for a few minutes then turn it off.


      Recheck the oil level and add a bit more oil if needed, untill the oir level reaches the FULL mark.


      Check for leaks.
