It takes two to make and break a marriage and you really don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

Everyone asked me why on earth I would leave my first husband because he was such a great guy. The truth is he was one person in the house and an entirely different person outside of the house. I couldn't make it work, so I left.

There are people on this planet that need someone to fill in the space before they leave a relationship. My best friend was very much like this when she was alive. She had many relationships and she always, without fail, had a man lined up before she left someone.

There you go... a small slice of life.

Oh Fishie..The old charmer trick...I fell for that one too!..Ex-husband made absolutely no effort to be charming to anyone!..Ex..charms everyone outside the house,smart,suave..the true Gentleman..no one can believe that it was a different story behind closed doors!:-¬..(On the plus side of it..at least the husband was consistent)!;-)lol!

I have never been able to figure that one out.

I have an aquaintace that calls in on me once in a while & regales me with tall tales & true of his extra-marital sexual exploits.(He thinks I'm interested,but I'm not).

His wife is a 6ft.blonde lady of German extraction who is not only very attractive but a really nice person to boot.

It's as tho they have something to prove by nailing every woman that will give them the time of day.I don't understand the behaviour at all.

Some people are addicted to sex! I think more men than women! They feel they have to prove to themselves how SEXY they are! It is hell in a relationship to have one person feel this way! The culprit will try to hide his or her addiction! Sadly the addicts attract the NON addicts!

I'm not so sure about that. If you ask men to be truthfully about the answer to the question; "In you first sexual encounter, who was the instigator, you or the female and who was older." Eight our of ten will answer, the female and that she was OLDER." ;-)

Men sometimes cheat on their beautiful wives...women sometimes cheat on their handsome husbands. Why? Because a long lasting relationship has absolutely nothing to do with looks. It has to do with commitment, loyalty, honesty, moral standards and common interests. What a person looks like, is only the initial attraction and never lasts.

And some couples become just bored and may fall out of love with each other. How did the song go, "make an ugly woman my wife, going to be happy for the rest of my life". Some of these "trophy wives" are not very nice, and are very high maintenance.

Married men do not "go to a restaurant" if they have morals. They also don't blame their wives if they lack morals. Married couples are adults and adults are responsible for their own behavior, no matter how much they would like to cry "poor little me".

maybe she is nagging him to death, or maybe she only wants to have sex with him the night before she goes to her hairdressers, and that' s only once a year. Or maybe since they had kids, she sees him as a neccessary evil to her life.......just a paycheck.
