I've never attempted to "get into" a clique in my entire life. I don't even notice "cliques" until someone complains that they don't like/aren't included in one. I think a clique is simply a group of people with common interests and always, a similar sense of humor. I've never felt, if I wasn't in their group, that it was a personal insult.
We can do SO MUCH with just one little word, can't we? "Click" or "Tape" You just never know if the rambling might last for days and days. LOL!!!!

Tommy, I pictured a “cave" as a dug out place in the side of a hill. And there you stood with your club whacking flies out of your area.
There is place in OZ ,called the Jenolan Caves,N.S.W., it is the only time i have seen swarm of flies, people would walk past and it was hard to tell what colour the top was that they were wearing, i hated the place, you had to be careful talking as flies would literately fly into your mouth, and i'm not joking. -- Tommy would have loved it. lol.
Flies are a real nuisance, I nearly swallowed one out of my Fanta at a meeting, started dry retching, after a few minutes I had everyone doing the same

Lamb, something might have died, like i said i have never seen flies in numbers before or since- this was quite a few years ago, at least there was no flies in the caves must have been too cold for them.
Believe it or not I grew up on a dairy farm.FLY CITY! I think that's where I started to hate them so much.It was a constant battle to keep them out of the milk.

The closest thing to trouser ferrets we had in Virginia were racoons but they were much less docile than your ferrets so the popularity of the event ended very quickly.
Not sure about those ferrets but that duct (he means DUCK) tape thing is a real fashion statement. lol

Folk who like to quote Bible scripture…I grew-up in the midst of Bibliophiles and Bible-thumpers…all of the local ones give me an unobstructed path. I’m pleasant to them all, but they seem disturbed by my personal requirement that they talk with me from their heart about what they have to say…no Bible quotes, just them personally. It’s like asking them to remove their mask in my presence. Sometimes they feel uncomfortably naked, exposed or even sexually aroused. I am amazed that so many are so confused and disturbed by eye-to-eye contact and intimate social association where everyone keeps their clothes on.

People who fear eye-to-eye contact might have Aspberger’s Disease. They also tend to avoid intimate social association. I don’t know what that has to do with bible thumpers. Probably nothing. I lived in an area of people who were hyper-religious. A couple of doctors had bibles in their waiting room. I didn’t do well with that at all.
Tommyh your answer is a rubber-stamp-answer…I have seen that before and it really doesn’t say anything to suggest that you may have considered my answer more than grazed around the pile of fertilizer that I wrote without adding to, or disturbing it in any way. AKAQA is to me, a form of public theater allowing it’s users to banter away on subject or just refer the question to a prompt answer.

Were I to diagnose, I would be placing the barrier of my consideration as a filter to our relationship. I would have to protect my opinion by finding all the ways that my opinion is revealed as true and spread my opinion of that person to others seeking their agreement so as to prove my view to be correct. This practiced response could be viewed as prejudice but for the fact that we have all been grilled since childhood to use this as a wise remedy to our social problems. But then the very this practice is branded in our mind like a scarlet letter declaring our infidelity to truth...

The queueing part is the part I most strongly agree with.Much to my wife's frustration I doggedly refuse to wait on queues.I mean,why should we?We're the ones paying the money.Let 'em employ more staff to reduce the waiting time.Good answer Millie.TU
Thanks Tommy...I`ll only queue if I really have to..eg food shopping etc..and even then if the queue is more than a few people then I`ll go elsewhere!(Not that I think that I`m better than the next person)!LOL...I just can`t do queues!..You definitely won`t find me up at 5am or camped out in a sleeping bag to get the best of the bargains at the sales!;-)

The transition from paper books and news papers to e-readers, even though I have one. I enjoy the heft of a book, the texture of its pages, even the smell. To me, the e-reader has taken reading to a base practicality and lost the romance.

I too, love holding a book, the feel of it, and also the smell. That's what I like about going into a library...the "smell" of it. Strange isn't it? :)

I hate the smell of people that smoke cigarettes. How people can wake up in the morning and smoke is just horrible on their health.They just stink of tobacco. And you kow what, I hate smokers that throw their butts out of their vehicle on street corners . Street corners are filled with this. Just nasty people.
