If your garmin wont turn on, then you need to carry out some tests on the device.
The problem is that the battery is not charged. Try to charge your battery by connecting it to your computer using the USB cable, then power it on.
If it does not come on, then the battery is bad and need to be replaced, before replacing it, test your charger on another nuvi to see if it will work, then test another battery in your nuvi to see if it will come on.
After carrying out the test, you would have detected the faulty component and solve the problem.
