Yesterday I purchased a Sentry Safe, model SFW123CS. I wrote down the combination that was on the manual but it will not open. If I give you the sn will you be able to furnish me with the combination.

Make sure you are working the dial properly for this type of safe. With the door lever fully counter clockwise, turn the dial clockwise a couple turns to start. It should turn quietly. Then turn the dial counterclockwise (LEFT) to the first number in the combination. Now turn the dial clockwise (RIGHT) a full turn passing the first number again, and additionally clockwise to the second number. Then turn the dial counter clockwise from the second number directly to the third number. Try to open with a sharp movement of the door lever clockwise. If this does not work the first time try adding or subtracting ONE to each number in the combination in case the mechanism is worn. If it still does not work it is time for a drill and a power saw to cut the thing open!
