How old is the gas you have in it? If it's not fresh, drain all the gas and put in fresh gas, not gas that's been sitting for months.

How old is the saw? Did it have gas setting in it for a while? Unless you pre-treated the gas before you put it in the saw, the additives they have in gasoline today kill the carburetors in those small engines. You may have to take to to Sears to be serviced.
