Talk to them. That is # 1 of importance. Read to them......show them the pictures and the words. Do simple number games with them. .....like counting their fingers adn toes. Buy them interacitve educational toys. ( no, I do not mean video games) get them out on a playground to develope their gross motor skills. Play good music for them .Take them places. Introduce them to other adults and children. Play blocks with them. My sister in law who is a teacher said if they play blocks, they'll be good at math. I think it's because it helps them with their spacial relationships. Don't let them watch TV all the time !
