    how do you get rid of soap embedded in a flannel making it hard

    Rewash the flannels ( facecloths) without


    any washing soap or detergent.

    throw it away and buy a new one,

    Wash in the cycle with no soap, but a cup of vinegar, which should remove soap residue.
