You must have looked for a blown fuse, so try the switch to the electric motor that lifts them up. If the switch is o.k., then it is the motor itself.

well the problem is that they open and shut by them selves, so i remove the fuse to stop them in the open position
Then I can rule out a blown fuse, or motor. It sounds like a frayed wire making contact, or a faulty switch.
