Removal Procedure Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the instrument panel from the vehicle.
Remove the heater/air distributor case from the vehicle.
Disconnect the vacuum actuators from the vent-floor door and the defroster door.
Remove the vacuum actuators from the heater/air distributor case.
Remove the screws that secure the heater core cover to the heater/air distributor case assembly.
Slowly separate the lower heater core cover from the rest of the assembly.
Remove the screw and the bracket clamp that secure the heater core lines to the case.
Remove the spring clamp that secures the heater core body to the case.Remove the heater core from the case.
