    bleeding a slave cylinder

I tried everything to bleed a slave cylinder with no success. I was told to jack the front end up so the master cylinder is on a backward slope. Is this true? HELP!!!!!

No.Jacking up the car will make little difference. If you have just installed a slave cylinder Or a clutch master cylinder check out all of the fluid lines for leaks. It is not uncommon for flexible hoses to develop leaks with the added pressure caused by the new cylinder(s).Also make sure that the clutch pedal is pressed ALL THE WAY to the floor when you release the pressure.Hope this helps.
