    Why does Bissell Pro carpet cleaner's brushes not work constantly

    My Bissell Pro carpet cleaner quit pumping water from carpet to the cleaner. I removed and cleaned the brushes and now they work periodically. My instructions manual states that a pulley access area is available, but there is no such area on my machine. Everything has to be unscrewed and I'm leary about removing so much to get to the pully area for the brushes or pump.

      Contact Bissell. Their products have a 7 year warranty. They will tell you where to take it to have it fixed. Their number is in the owner's manual.
