These prak call on the radio has been around for some time, what they did was just that, a prank, it wasn't meant to harm-- I don't think they should be punished, I've heard far worse prank calls-- However, when a prank call ends up hurting someone then the issue needs to be examined. The idea that this nurse commited suicide over this prank call tells me there is other underlying issues in her life, the prank call just set it off.

Yes, I'm not sure if they should be fired but they should
definitely be fined and have to do some type of
community service. They should also have to publicly apologize
and NEVER be allowed to prank call people again. The fine
should go to the family of the unfortunate nurse.

Practical jokes are a way of life and entertainment. DJ's do it all the time. They never expected to get through to anyone, it was a fluke. I don't think they should be punished at all. Not for doing what they are paid to do.......
