My oldest daughter and her family live in Washington state and they are very upset, that they made the use of Marijuana legal. They have two sons, my grandsons, are 20 and 16 years old and now they have to worry that they might use Marijuana at some point.
The US is already the drug capitol of the world, thanks to the Mexican Government. who has proven incompitent to deal with it. and the US is too incompitend to stop stop the flow of drugs into the US.
We have serious issues in this country

Now that maijuana is legal in one state, it will quickly spread throughout United States and Canada, before long, making all of us in North America, believe that it's nothing really, very socially acceptable. It will be old-fashioned to think that it is NOT a good thing. Then the government can start advertising (with tax dollars) to "Smoke Responsibly", just as they do with "Drink Responsibly" and "Gamble Responsibly".  Then, they can do additional advertising, set up facilities, train counsellors, to "help you with your addiction", once again with tax dollars. I guess that the positive is, more jobs?  What a screwed up society!

I'm glad it was legalized. My grandfather, the doctor, often prescribed grass for his patients until it became illegal. It is a much needed drug in some cases (I know of one). Just don't want to move to Washington State. I don't smoke myself by the way but, I don't care if YOU do.......

Yes they did but Obuma will kill it the same as he did the medical marijua use  in California. He will sic the Feds on Washington the same as he has in several other states.

It might stop the black market in it,that causes a lot of crime,all over the world,
