    AARP road service program

Do any of you fellow "oldsters" have an opinion about whether the road service that AARP promotes is a good option (vs AAA)? I travel a lot and many trips are in a cargo van loaded with cargo.

I had AAA for years and when they raised their rates I switched to AARP. big misstake. they would not reconize my wifes card and would not dispatch help when our cars battery went dead. so I am going back to AAA. at least they will respond to any family member as long as they have card #

Stick with AAA. Do a group plan with your family if you can to get the price down.
and to protect yourself get their 'super' card. it's more expensive but I only paid an extra $20 for a car towed 106 miles to my repair garage. that's for a single card for $87. family cards more expensive
I an a sr, member of aarp need quote on local rd. service for sr. don't drive at night towed on it also
