Why would a canadian company reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) choose to follow the traditional approach for its balance-sheet presentation rather the IFRS approach?

I assume that the Canadian company in question is publicly traded and NOT privately held.

My understanding is that all Canadian publicly-traded corporations are required to report under IFRS methods as of 2011.

Are you at liberty to disclose the company?
