    how long does a dry cleaner have to keep goods. can he dispose of after 5 years

    It is probably posted in the store or on your reciept as to how long they hold your goods.

    definitly way less then 5 years


    30 days past the p/u date but sometimes as long as 6 mos. then they sell them or donate to a charity. I've gotten nice formals and dress clothes for the cost of the cleaning.
