      an ipod is a device to download and listen to music on- they are small.  An ipad is a type of tablet that you can use to look up email, and use the internet, download music and books etc.

        I don't know either, and I was wondering something like that a few weeks ago, so I asked my 3rd cousin, Cassidy (she's 29 ) what the diff is between an  ipod and an ipad. Now, I forgot what she said. hahahah

            An Ipad is a tablet made by Apple. There are plenty of other tablet manufacturers out there. Blackberry calls their tablet, Playbook...and it's the best one out there, in my humble opinion.
