Thomas Edison when he was trying to invent the light bulb was asked"Why do you keep trying when you have failed over a thousand times?" Edison replied "I have not failed once, I have proved over a thousands ways that will not work" To market his light bulb he formed The general Electric Light Company now know simply as General Electric or GE.
