212 degrees Fahrenheit, unless the container is under pressure, then it rises.
I.E. Water at 10 PSIG (0.68 bar) boils at a temperature 240 degrees F
The volume of steam at 212 F is 1,600 times greater than an equal mass of water at 212 F.
It requires ONE BTU to raise the tempterature of one pint of water, one degree.
However around 650 BTUS must be added to change the 212 water to 212 Steam.
