Turn on your computer and press and hold F8 as it is loading. This will take you to the Operating System Choices menu.

Choose "Return to OS Choices Menu" when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears. Select the "Cancel Windows XP Setup" option.

Remove Windows XP by clicking on the "Start" button then selecting "Control Panel." Choose the "Add or Remove Programs" tool to remove Windows XP. Follow the instructions and restart the computer once finished.

Reinstall Windows XP by inserting the Windows XP CD-ROM into the computer.

Restart your computer once Windows XP has been installed.
