thankyou it is in australia the ceo is refusing to even contemplate being connected to the main sewerage
So what are the ceo planning to do with the waste? There are green sewerage systems such as reed beds which are satisfactory, but is this an existing retirement village or a new one?
below reply moved to where it goes

The village is over 30 years old, there are pumps which broke down and the sewerge overflowed, yuk,the pumps were replaced, not sure where it is pumped too,but despite comments raising concerns re residents health, the CEO states he has no intention of connecting up to the main sewerage as it is too expensive.
