    how do i convert specific gravity to pounds

    if i know the specific gravity of oil how do i find how much it wieghs per pound?

    Specific gravity is the ratio of the density of a material and the density of water, therefore, cannot be converted into pounds, but into units of pounds, or other mass unit, per any unit of volume.
