I'd tread lightly with that idea. The reason I say that is, there is alot of science goes into just safely handling that stuff without the risk of intense fire or explosion. Many things in our everyday life look fairly innocuous, but only because someone long ago devised a proper way of handling them. The knowledge they gained came through trial and error.
You screw up on something with rocket fuel and things can turn from bad to horrible real quick.
