    2oo3 ford focus recently i changed a motor ,went in fine went start it i smelled a wire burning in car! i may have shorted the starter wire and selinoid wire together in the plastic seperator at the starter now when i put the meter on it its not reading the computer i can get the stater to crank hard wire but no spark even with ignition on? what could i hve burned up?

    Take the car to a competent tech, who has the proper equipment to analyze the problem and have the fault corrected, rather than spending more money to fix a problem that apparently you are not capable of correcting, WBMS
