According to internet information, the filming locations of Crickley Hall were as follows:
The village of Downham, Lancashire, was used for the village of 'Devils Cleave' where the real village pub of 'The Assheton Arms' acted as the 'Barnaby Inn' and Devils Cleave Church scenes were filmed at Downham St Leonard church. Crickley Hall itself was filmed at Bowden Hall, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire. The war scenes are filmed on Falkner Street in Liverpool.
