Yes and No i am having problems getting any picture at all not even a snow white screen.I thought i could try to make it work by using it as a monitor with my laptop. I dont know if it has to be on any channel? i even have a remote with it.

It's a lot more involved than you think it is. You need special connectors then you need the program in your computer and you need to know what you're doing. Go to Best Buy or Radio Shack and have them show you what you need and what you have to do.
