    keep blowing fuses when we try starting with the key, somne one put a new ignition on and its not working , however if i jump the fuse and put gas in the carb and cross it at the solinoid it will start long enough to run the gas out that was added

    I'd suspect a wiring issue with the new ignition. Sounds like it's not grounded properly. 

    Agree with Colleen.  They didn't install the ignition correctly.  new switch??  Check for a short there, you should hear and see a spark and hear a crack when you turn the key if there's a short.  Fortunately for you it's blowing the fuse.  The problem lies between the ignition switch and the fuzebox.  Probably the ignition switch
