Because there's either a problem with the battery or it's not being charged properly. Check the battery cables to make sure they are on tight. Check the belt to the alternator to make sure it's not loose. Have your car serviced if these things are fine. Any garage can test both your battery and alternator. If they charge at all for this, the cost will be minimal. I've never had a garage charge me to test these two things though.
