These units are not intended to be repaired by the owners, however if you are mechanically inclined, and willing to remove something like 50 screws, it's not very hard. Because there are many different models and so many screws, it's not possible to describe the process exactly. Assuming you do attempt to open it up, the elements are easy to replace BUT IT IS VITAL you make sure you get them reconnected EXACTLY the same way they are to start with. It is very easy to get them wired wrong, and if so it will not work properly, or could over heat and damage the unit. Take notes BEFORE you disconnect them.
