Sorry, we don't do homework here.
Just so you all know, this question was created by some author who did not create an answer for it. Some person with a high IQ did come up with an answer that works. There is an answer online with a formula that explains why the answer works. I just don't want anyone going nutty trying to figure out something that may not even have a true answer. It was fun trying though, lol

See Thom's answer. He explains how he came up with mare as the answer. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081231173113AAsKKjQ
How can we answer a question that has no answer..?? I say the answer is Octopus.. Octopus can't fly so its not a bird and birds aren't the only thing that doesn't have teeth and since the hen has feathers and the octopus has a beak which resembles a birds beak it must be a fish.. so that's my answer, a fish, not just any fish but a dead fish because the nest is not a living thing. therefore, I will stick to the octopus because it doesn't fly.
    straw..

straw relates to a nest. It can't relate.
Lentil soup or Flannel Pajamas.. Got to be one or the other.. I'm sure of it.. Try both, see if that works for ya

LOL, nope, not those either. I might have to start giving hints ;)
Being that a hen doesn't have teeth, but has a beak, what has a nest but not a blank? Penguin? They don't have nests.
Oops, I kind of helped out the ancient Greece question, I'm slippin, haven't been on much lately. This is a tough question, lol.

Okay, okay...I concede...may be a question I sure as Hell can't make sense of but then again...my old standard answer is "I'm old" however, always, willing to learn something new every day...you just have to be more explicit with your answers to us old folk! (:
What the f**k are you speaking of and how can you embarass youself by asking such a dumb question..we are not the riddle masters here! Somebody...please spare me!!! What's that phrase on these infomercials?..."Let's stop the insanity"...or maybe that's not an infomercial???...don't know...old and tired and still LOL! (:

Nope. Has to be something not related to the nest but related to the difference between teeth and hen. ;)
